ARMORED RECORDS - MUSIC THAT CAN TAKE IT

Kevin Brunkhorst

Kevin Brunkhorst is an American-born guitarist who splits his time between the Midwest and his job as Chair of the Music Department at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

His first memories of music included seeing the Beatles play ‘Hey Jude', which was aired on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1968. He received his first guitar for his tenth Christmas. Later, his musical diet expanded to include jazz.

He attended the University of North Texas (and took two degrees). In between those, he spent several years in the “music industry”. There have been many other physical, mental, and spiritual adventures as well.
